National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative
The National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC) is a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative founded to bring valuable telecommunications services to rural communities in the same way that rural electric cooperatives and telephone companies brought electricity and telephone service to rural America in the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
NRTC members serve millions of customers in areas of the country that have been historically unserved or underserved by traditional utilities and other businesses. NRTC offers its members an array of telecommunications solutions developed to meet the needs of rural utilities and their customers.
What We Do
NRTC provides value by scouting for new technologies, aggregating its members’ individual buying power, negotiating national contracts and supporting business solutions that expand their service offerings.
